How to Install IBO Player on Samsung and LG Smart TVs

Streaming Directly on Your Smart TV

If you own a modern Samsung or LG Smart TV, you don't necessarily need to buy a Firestick or Android Box to watch IPTV. You can download an IPTV player directly from your TV's built-in app store.

IBO Player is currently one of the best and most reliable apps available for both Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) televisions. Here is how to set it up.

Step 1: Download IBO Player

  1. Press the Home button on your TV remote.
  2. Navigate to your TV's app store:
    • Samsung: Go to Apps and select the magnifying glass to search.
    • LG: Go to the LG Content Store or Apps and select the search icon.
  3. Type IBO Player into the search bar.
  4. Select the app and click Install or Download.
  5. Once installed, open the app.

Step 2: Get Your Device ID

Unlike Android apps where you type your username and password directly into the TV with a remote, Smart TV apps use a web portal to sync your playlist. This is much easier!

  1. When you open IBO Player on your TV, it will display two important codes on the screen:
    • Device MAC Address (e.g., 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E)
    • Device Key
  2. Write both of these down or take a picture with your phone. Leave the app open on your TV.

Step 3: Upload Your Playlist via the IBO Portal

  1. On your smartphone or computer, open a web browser and go to the official IBO Player website: iboplayer.com/device/login
  2. Enter the MAC Address and Device Key you got from your TV screen and click Login.
  3. Once logged in, click on Add XC Playlist (Xtream Codes).
  4. Fill in the details provided by Flick IPTV:
    • Playlist Name: Flick IPTV
    • Host: Enter the server URL we provided.
    • Username: Enter your subscription username.
    • Password: Enter your subscription password.
  5. Click Save.

Step 4: Refresh the App on Your TV

  1. Go back to your TV where IBO Player is still open.
  2. Press the Reload or Refresh button on the screen, or simply restart the app.
  3. You will now see "Flick IPTV" listed as a playlist.
  4. Click on it to load your Live TV, Movies, and Series categories!

Important Note About IBO Player

IBO Player is a premium app. It gives you a 7-day free trial to test its interface. After 7 days, you will need to pay a small one-time fee (usually around €8) on the IBO Player website to activate the app for life. Please note that this fee goes to the app developers, not Flick IPTV.
